My son Jeff and I and Frank Baumann climbed this rock back in the early 1980. It was a lumpy rocky dangerous climb on a columns of fractured basalt.
Legend has it a pioneer logger free climbed it and hid a silver or gold dollar on top. A spectacular climb and view. I dedicate this pic to my son Jeff. Here he is standing with Frank after I rapp'ed down and crossed to the mountain for the shot.
Tis a special moment in a young life that changed destiny.
