Zarathustra started the Zoroastrianism religion long ago in Persia or ancient Iran and Iraq. When they exiled to India they were renamed the Parsi of Persia.
Zoroastrianism was invented in Persia by a chap named Zarathustra in the 6th or 7th centuries BC and these folks migrated to the Gujarat region of India because of persecution by Islamists. Haven't changed a bit have they.
They founded businesses and some of their descendents are in the top rank and file of India. The religion is still practiced by 0.2% of the people of India.
They believe in one invisible God, and that there is an eternal war between two forces, good(light) and evil(dark). Good wins in this Pantheon if people think and do and speak good and the converse also. This probably where the three monkeys who speak no evil, see no evil and hear no evil came from.
God is represented by fire in their Temples. It gives off heat and light.
Its easy to see that Christianity adopted the one god, good and evil idea from this religion cause it was useful for behavior modification.
The cannibal part of eating the body and the blood of the King they got from the Celts and Nordic religions, who used to sacrifice their kings in midwinter feasts and then drink their blood out of bronze or later silver Cualdrons.
The primitive logic was that the power of the dude got into you by eating him. They then recast the whole lot with a Jew as the King instead of Zarathustra and added candles and burning bushes for the fire-god part.
Parsi practice leaving corpses of the deceased in high places to be eaten by crows, vultures and hawks. In an ecological sense, their biological matter gets reborn inside creatures. Not bad. Better than cremation with its air pollution and carbon emissions. It is one of the one god religions or monotheisms unlike Hindi which has many gods.
India has another nasty surpise for Christians. Christ was not resurrected from a tomb in Israel. He was smuggled to India and buried in a tomb in Kashmir and everybody knows about it in India. Here it is. Kinda blows the whole thing away doesn't it.
