My article on antibiotic collateral damage to mitochondria and its link to cancer and heart disease with addenda suggesting exploratory pathways to clinical mitigation.
Intermittent fasting with protein deficiency may boost damaged mitochondrial phagocytosis and regeneration and lactate from exercise may boost the immune system.

Reduce risk of antibiotic damage from mitochondria these foods have potential to supplement reduced glutathione: Broccoli, spinach, carrots and potatoes are all high in antioxidants, and so are artichokes, cabbage, asparagus, avocados, beetroot, radish, lettuce, sweet potatoes, squash, pumpkin, collard greens and kale. Using lots of spices in cooking is good.
