Man created Gods to explain the ocurrence of events and the existence of the universe and all of creation, then science showed that it was all just energy being organized by and obeying laws of nature, and now science explains it all, and physical and organic evolution of the universe and within the universe has been shown to be the creator of all things as we know them so this process can be called the Creator, not quite a god in the magic sense of ancient mythology but very significant in our lives because it can be believed on a foundation of science instead of faith.
God has evolved from a magic anthropomorphic Theistic Superbeing to universal cosmological and secular physical and organic evolution, and increasingly more and more humans are becoming aware of this powerful and liberating conclusion. This is the evolution of God. It has liberated spirituality to be whatever you want it to be and have your science and and creation as well.
